ENRICH Yorkshire and Humber team shortlisted for a Nursing Times Award
Andrea Fisher
The Yorkshire and Humber ENRICH team have been shortlisted for a Nursing Times Award in the Clinical Research Nursing category for their work with care homes in the region. The award shortlisting recognises their work in improving standards of research delivery in care homes, enhancing the experiences of residents and staff taking part in research and increasing awareness of care home research.
Since the regional care home network was set up in 2013, the team have developed an online training package for care home staff, acted as advisors to researchers developing projects for funding bids, set up a region-wide forum for care home staff and researchers, set up and run a Patient and Public Involvement (PPI) group in a local care home and organised events such as research conferences to bring researchers and care home staff together.
The team are proud to have been shortlisted for the award and would like to thank everyone in the wider team in Yorkshire and Humber as well as all the care homes and researchers they work with who have contributed to this shortlisting.
