Do you have an Ageing or Multi-morbidity research idea that you would like support to submit for funding?

The NIHR Applied Research Collaboration East of England are calling for research ideas relating to Ageing or Multi-morbidity. They are holding a virtual grant writing workshop event on Friday 27th November 2020. If you are interested in discussing your idea you will need to complete a brief form by 5pm Thursday 5th November 2020.

Sunday 11th October 2020

“Join practitioners and researchers with an interest in Ageing and Multi-morbidity research in developing competitive grant applications and research proposals. There will be opportunities to pitch potential research projects to the group and focus on developing these ideas further and/or moving the projects forward.

What can you expect to get out of the workshop?

  • ¬†Opportunity to present and discuss a research idea/proposal
  • ¬†Research support with your grant application
  • ¬†Collaboration with research-interested clinicians, practitioners and academics from across the Ageing research community
  • Guidance on funding opportunities and applications
  • Opportunity to develop new ideas and research projects and create new
    networks

What is ARC East of England?

The NIHR ARC East of England is a five-year collaboration between researchers, NHS Trusts, local governments, charities and industry partners across the region. We aim to improve care by undertaking applied research which supports NHS and Social Care staff to change practice and look at whether care and treatments are effective and provide good value.
