Amore Care joins the ENRICH Research Ready Care Home Network

The NIHR Dementia & Neurodegenerative Diseases Research Network (DeNDRoN) is pleased to announce that Amore Care has become the latest care provider, to join the Research Ready Care Home Network, part of the DeNDRoN Enabling Research in Care Homes (ENRICH) initiative, extending support for dementia research into a further 43 locations across the UK.

The NIHR Dementia & Neurodegenerative Diseases Research Network (DeNDRoN) is pleased to announce that Amore Care has become the latest care provider, to join the Research Ready Care Home Network, part of the DeNDRoN Enabling Research in Care Homes (ENRICH) initiative, extending support for dementia research into a further 43  locations across the UK.

Amore Care is part of the Priory Group of Companies. Amore Care offers residential, nursing and dementia care to older people with varying levels of need. As a top provider of care they aim to enhance quality of life by enabling people in their care to make informed choices about their daily life. By actively engaging with residents and relatives and encouraging regular feedback ensures people are as independent as possible.

Adam Smith, DeNDRoN Programme Manager said ‚ÄúWe are delighted to be working with Amore Care, this partnership will provide improved access to research, and help ensure that the Government’s recent investment into care home research can be delivered effectively, for the benefit of this charitable organisation and its residents. Around 280,000 people with dementia live in care homes, and we want to ensure that all those residents have an equal opportunity to participate, and to ensure that research addresses everyone’s needs.‚Äù
