ENRICH celebrates Care Home Open Day – a UK-wide initiative inviting care homes to open their doors to their local communities.

As today marks Care Home Open Day 2016, ENRICH is calling on more care homes to be open to participating in research.

For care homes, research can directly and indirectly enhance the quality of life for residents. For residents, research gives this vulnerable population a voice. The ENRICH programme aims to broaden the research landscape by encouraging stronger partnerships between researchers, care home staff and residents.

The ENRICH online toolkit compliments the programme, and includes blogs, case studies and a community feature allowing users to share ideas and experiences.
