Moving research into practice: Advanced dementia and end of life’ workshop

Alzheimer’s Society is running a workshop on the topic of ‘Moving research into practice: Advanced dementia and end of life care. This will take place on Wednesday 23 January in London (venue tbc). The Society would like to allocate up to two places to contacts working in the care home sector. The ‘Moving research into practice: Advanced dementia and end of life’ workshop taking place on Wednesday 23 January 2019 from 10am to 3pm in London.

The objective of the workshop is to bring together people affected by dementia, researchers, funders, health and social care providers, commissioners and policy makers to discuss solutions to improving the experiences of those living with advanced dementia or at end of life, including family carers. This event will specifically focus on moving research into practice. As a result of this event, Society would like to develop a series of recommendations on transforming care for people living with advanced dementia or at end of life.
