Amanda King is an NHS Occupational Therapist on the NIHR-funded Masters in Research Methods (Health) at the University of Nottingham. She is She is conducting a small empirical study as part of her dissertation (which forms the basis of PhD proposal): Care homes for older people and access to outdoor mobility, activities and spaces

The ENRICH network continues to grow in the North West with over 30 homes now participating and three research studies being undertaken.
North East expanding and helping to spread the news

North East continue to recruit more homes across the region. Over the past few months we have liaised with researchers at local universities and we’ve have had the privilege of attending two big local meetings of Gateshead and Newcastle dementia champions, thanks to the Tyne and Wear Care Alliance where we managed to sign up more homes!
